What it is
The Queen Program is a culturally grounded development and mentorship program for Black girls and young women. It supports identity, confidence, self-respect, healthy relationships, leadership, personal care, and the practical skills needed to move toward an independent future.

03Goal planning, daily living, budgeting, education and employment readiness, personal care, and future-focused decision-making.
04Etiquette, leadership practice, public presence, community responsibility, and opportunities to learn from trusted women mentors.
What to expect
Begin with a conversation about the participant’s goals, interests, strengths, and support needs.
The team connects the participant with an appropriate session, mentor, or activity.
Participants take part in guided discussion, skill practice, reflection, and positive peer learning.
Fresh Start USA can connect families and participants with additional resources when needs extend beyond the program.
